Host Institution
Universities in the Netherlands that provide OKP-qualified programmers/courses to students.
Level/Field(s) of study
For short courses (duration two weeks to 12 months) and master’s programmers (duration 12 – 24 months), scholarships are available.

Target group
Professionals from the following countries: Afghanistan, Burkina Faso, Burundi (DRC), Ethiopia, Ghana, Guatemala (Guatemala), Guinea, Kenya, Lebanon, Liberia, Mali, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nigeria, Niger, Nigerian, Pakistan, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
Scholarship value/inclusions
During the duration of the scholarship, you will continue to earn a wage. It is a donation towards living expenses and other expenditures such as tuition fees, visa fees, and insurance etc. It is not a grant or loan. You must cover any difference between the scholarship amount and the actual expenses.

If your company is willing to recommend you for the scholarship, be sure to examine the qualifying requirements before applying.
It is necessary to apply directly to a Dutch university or college of your choosing. Consult your chosen Dutch higher education institution for application processes. Your local Dutch institution may provide additional information on the application and selection processes, including eligibility requirements. There are different deadlines for different courses, depending on the university.
There are three rounds in which candidates may apply for individual scholarship awards:
- 3 February – 23 March 2021 Round 1 (for courses starting between 26 July and 21 November 2021)
- 12 May-29 June 2021 Round 2 (for Short Courses starting between 22 November 2021 and 20 February 2022)
- This round is for Short Courses beginning on or after 21 February 2022 and concluding on or before 31 August 2022 (see below for details).
